This week we focus on the celebrated American multi-disciplinary artist Ed Ruscha. Born in Oklahoma, December 16, 1937, Ruscha studied at the Chouinard Art Institute from 1956 to 1960 in Los Angeles. His work was considered part of the Pop Art movement, and gained prominence with his photographs of mundane subjects in Los Angeles such as gas stations and apartment buildings, as well as his paintings that featured isolated words or phrases.
We are pleased to offer a comprehensive selection of his seminal 70s publications on Los Angeles and Southern California’s landscapes, all vintage signed copies in good condition.
